Building Construction
Delivered 14% under budget while achieving LEED Platinum and WELL Gold certifications

Challenge & Innovation
Building twin 45-story towers on a 0.8-acre site bordered by historic buildings demanded unprecedented precision. We engineered a "top-down" construction sequence that excavated 7 subterranean levels while simultaneously erecting the superstructure above. To protect adjacent 1920s facades, real-time vibration monitoring systems triggered automatic equipment shutdowns at 0.15 in/s thresholds.

Results & Legacy
Today, Veridian stands as Seattle's most technologically advanced high-rise, achieving 42% energy reduction through triple-glazed ventilated facades and geothermal heat recovery. The project's crowning achievement? Zero disruption to neighboring businesses during construction and 98% waste diversion through concrete recycling and modular construction.
