About the Owner
In 2012, a young designer named Shruti Desai stood at the beginning of a journey she didn’t fully see yet — but deeply felt. With a sketchbook always in hand and an eye that noticed details others overlooked, she believed homes could be more than just living spaces. They could be experiences. They could feel alive.
Growing up in a family of craft lovers, Shruti spent her early years watching carpenters, artisans, and metal workers shape raw materials into meaningful beauty. Those moments planted the first seeds of what Livaro would eventually become.
Where Livaro Began
After graduating in interior design, she spent years working with manufacturers, craftsmen, and architects, learning not just the design side — but the practical, hands-on making of spaces. She understood that true design comes from harmony between vision and craftsmanship.
By 2018, Shruti felt the pull to build something of her own — something that carried her Philosophy : Design should be personal, crafted, and deeply connected to the people who live with it.
And so, Livaro was born.
Today, Shruti leads Livaro with the same dedication she had on the very first day — still sketching, still experimenting, and still listening closely to every client’s vision. But she’s no longer building Livaro alone. Over the years, she has brought together a talented team of designers, craftsmen, and innovators who share her eye for detail and her belief in thoughtful design.
Together, they continue to shape Livaro into a studio that grows with every project — united by a passion to create spaces that feel personal, timeless, and truly lived in.
