My working methods and therapeutic approach

I work in an evidence-based, systemic, and resource-oriented manner, integrating methods from various therapeutic and counseling approaches. It is important to me to include the body, inner aspects, and emotions, as well as a trauma-sensitive, safety oriented approach. I believe that humans are autonomous, holistic individuals whose subjective experiences are of central importance to therapeutic processes. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is particularly important to me. I treat you with respect, openness, and empathy, meeting you on equal terms.

In a relaxed and creative atmosphere, I would like to support you in discovering new perspectives, developing solutions, and trying out helpful behaviors that will make your everyday life easier in the long term.

My view of humanity is shaped by the conviction that every person is valuable, continues to develop throughout their life, and has inner resources that support resilient development

Meet the Therapist Andrea

After studying psychology in Bern with a focus on developmental psychology, clinical psychology, and psychotherapy,
I completed further training in school psychology and educational counseling at EB Bern, which led to the professional title of Child and Adolescent Psychology FSP.
I then trained in systemic psychotherapy at the Meilener institute in Zurich, earning the professional title of federally recognized psychotherapist.
At the same time, I hold the professional title of "Specialist Psychologist for Psychotherapy (FSP)." Membership of the professional association and holding the professional title   obliges me to adhere to high-quality standards in my work.
I therefore engage in continuous further training, supervision, and self-awareness.
